The basic aim of “Medicine for Dental Students” is to keep the size handy and yet giving adequate information. All the chapters including the clinical methods and the text as per the syllabus of the Indian Dental Council have been thoroughly revised and updated. Every chapter begins with an introduction diagram which summarizes the common symptoms and signs pertaining to the respective system. To aid in the proper clinical examination, maximum number of diagrams, tables and photographs have been added in this edition. Two new chapters- ‘Substance Abuse’, and ‘Imaging Modalities in Internal Medicine’ have also been added. This edition with more number of tables and photographs will be a good guide for dental students.
